Adrian Colon - New Orleans Attorney at Law
Mr. Colon started as an attorney with the firm in March, 1992. Prior to that time, he attended Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama and received a B.A. in History in 1987. Mr. Colon then received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University of New Orleans in May, 1990. Legal Fraternity: Phi Delta Phi. After graduation, Mr. Colon worked as an associate attorney with the New Orleans law firm of Courtenay, Forstall, Guilbault, Hunter and Fontana. In 1999, Mr. Colon was named a partner with the firm. Mr. Colon’s practice has focused primarily on litigation involving personal injury, vehicle/ 18 wheeler accidents, insurance coverage, medical malpractice and maritime accidents. Besides being admitted to practice in Louisiana, he is also admitted before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit and Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. District Court, Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana. He is a member of the Plaquemines Parish Bar Association (President 1995-96)(Treasurer 2008-present), Louisiana, American and Federal Bar Associations in addition to the Louisiana Association for Justice, its Medical Malpractice Group and the American Association of Justice. Mr. Colon is involved in the Big Brothers/ Big Sisters Program and has served on the Metrovision School to Career Law Consortium and the Metropolitan Leadership Forum.
